The Gdynia Aquarium is a modern aquarium-type zoological garden, run by the National Marine Fisheries Research Institute (MIR-PIB). It is located on the South Pier in Gdynia.
The facility is at al. Jana Pawła II 1, in the representative seaside part of Gdynia.
It presents over 1,600 aquatic animals belonging to about 200 species. Among its greatest attractions is the largest coral reef in Poland.
An attraction for families with children and tourists visiting Gdynia.
Aquarium exhibits with aquatic fauna from around the world, including a giant octopus, sharks, piranhas and anacondas.
July-August: 9:00-21:00; September: 9:00-19:00; October-March: 10:00-17:00.
