ZOO Łączna (ZOO Farma)

A private zoological garden in the village of Łączna near Mieroszów, established by the Nowaczyk family. It gained the status of a zoological garden in 2012 (as ZOO Farma) and is listed in the register of zoological gardens of the General Directorate for Environmental Protection. It is the second zoological garden in Lower Silesia after the one in Wrocław.

Location

The facility is picturesquely situated between the Kamienne (Stone) Mountains and the Table Mountains, near the Polish-Czech border, about 22 km from Wałbrzych.

Animals

More than 50 animal species from all over the world live here, grouped into thematic zones (including Australia and South America). Among the residents are tigers, kangaroos, lemurs, jaguars, capybaras, servals and polar wolves (according to the zoo, the only such group in Poland).

Seasonality and opening hours

Open daily; on weekdays 9:00-17:00, on weekends and holidays 9:00-18:00. The World of Lemurs zone is open from March to October.
