A municipal zoological garden operating since 1974, located within the Culture and Recreation Park in Nowy Tomyśl. It is entered in the register of zoological gardens of the General Directorate for Environmental Protection. It covers an area of about 7.79 ha.
It presents about 200 animals representing 48 species. The garden does not keep large predators; its residents include baboons, green monkeys (vervets), rhesus macaques, the Przewalski's horse and Hartmann's mountain zebra (the last two species covered by the European conservation programme EEP).
Open daily, including holidays, from 10:00 to 18:00.
