Mini ZOO in Konin

A municipal menagerie (mini zoo) in Konin, located in the Fryderyk Chopin Park, covering about 2 ha. It is run by the Municipal Utilities and Housing Company. Its beginnings date back to 1975, when the first donkey was brought in from the Poznań zoological garden.

Animals

About 24 animal species are presented - several mammal species and more than a dozen bird species, including ostriches, fallow deer, emus, donkeys, ponies, Przewalski's horses, yaks, peacocks and pheasants.
