A wooden Lemko church in Powroźnik, now a Roman Catholic parish church, considered the oldest Lemko church in Poland and one of the oldest in the Carpathians. In 2013 it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Powroźnik lies in the Muszyna municipality, in the Nowy Sącz district, on the Wooden Architecture Route of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship.
The temple was probably built in 1604, as evidenced by the inscription "Mikola Kieroznicki An Dni 1604" preserved on the southern wall; the date 1643 probably refers to an expansion. It represents the tripartite Western Lemko layout of the north-western type.
Preserved polychromes from 1607 in the former presbytery (now the sacristy), Carpathian icons from the 17th-18th centuries (including "The Last Judgement" by Paweł Radymski from 1623), a dismantled iconostasis from the first half of the 18th century and a bell from 1615.
