Żebra Żubra is one of the most interesting nature trails in Białowieża, about 2.7 km long one way (approx. 45 min). It leads through wild fragments of the Białowieża Forest, including boggy alder carrs and marshland.
The trail lies in the Białowieża Forest in the Podlaskie Voivodeship – one of the last and largest fragments of primeval lowland forest in Europe. Almost half of the route runs along wooden boardwalks.
Other routes are also available nearby, including the popular Tsar's Trail (approx. 6 km one way) and the Trail of the Royal Oaks with a boardwalk and several dozen oaks aged 250-450 years.
