Church of the Beheading of St. John the Baptist in Szczyty-Dzięciołowo

A wooden Orthodox, formerly Uniate, church erected in 1785 through the foundation of Jan Walenty Węgierski, a royal chamberlain. Orthodox since 1839. It belongs to the group of Baroque Uniate churches built on an octagonal plan.

Architecture

A church of log construction (with a masonry porch). A Baroque body, blue on the outside, with an iconostasis inside.
