One of the most valuable monuments of Romanesque architecture in Mazovia, a former abbey of Canons Regular, now run by the Salesians.
Located on the escarpment above the Vistula in Czerwińsk nad Wisłą.
The Romanesque monastery church is among the oldest and most valuable sacred foundations of Mazovia, dating back to the 12th century. Once the seat of Canons Regular, it is now cared for by the Salesians. The basilica bears the dedication of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and is a sanctuary of Our Lady of Consolation.
