History

The Cistercian abbey in Krzeszów has medieval roots; the present Baroque complex was built in the 18th century. The monastery church houses the miraculous image of Our Lady of Grace and the Mausoleum of the Silesian Piasts.

The Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Church of St. Joseph, the Mausoleum of the Silesian Piasts, the Chapel of Mary Magdalene, the Ducal Well, and the monastery cellars.
