The best-preserved church of the Carthusian order in Polish lands, with a characteristic coffin-shaped roof, in the heart of Kashubia.
Located in Kartuzy in Kashubia, next to the Kashubian Museum.
Construction of the masonry church began in 1383 and was completed in 1403. After renovation in 1731-1733, the church received its characteristic coffin-shaped roof, referring to the austere Carthusian rule.
