The largest and best-preserved monastery foundation in the Lubusz Voivodeship, a former Cistercian abbey, now the seat of a theological seminary.

The Cistercian abbey in Paradyż was founded in the Middle Ages; the present Baroque complex dates from the 17th-18th centuries. Today it houses the Higher Theological Seminary of the Zielona Góra-Gorzów Diocese and the Paradyż Museum (opened in 1999).
