One of the largest and most popular pilgrimage sanctuaries on the borderland of Kuyavia and Masovia, run by the Bernardines.
Situated in Skępe, in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, surrounded by forests and lakes.
The Bernardine monastery complex was established at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries. The sanctuary is renowned for the Gothic figure of Our Lady of Skępe (the Expectant), venerated as the Lady of Masovia and Kuyavia.
