The minor basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Stara Wieś near Brzozów. The present church was built between 1730 and 1760 and consecrated in 1760. It was originally cared for by the Paulines (brought from Jasna Góra), and from 1821 by the Jesuits, who established a college and novitiate here.
The main altar holds a miraculous image depicting the Dormition and Assumption of Mary, crowned on 8 September 1877 by Nuncio Lodovico Jacobini. Since 1927 the church has held the dignity of a minor basilica.
