Geotourist trail of the Muskau Arch

Location and surroundings

The Muskau Arch is the first area in Poland to receive, in 2003, the certificate of the first National Geopark. Nearby lies Muskau Park (Muskauer Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site), stretching on both sides of the Lusatian Neisse.

Offer / What to see

Remains of the "Babina" mine, colourful post-mining reservoirs, embankments of a former narrow-gauge forest railway. The area is also crossed by the red trail of the Lusatian Neisse Valley (Żary – Łęknica, approx. 45 km).
