The minor basilica of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St Stanislaus, Bishop and Martyr, in Tuchów. The original wooden church was built by the Benedictines from Tyniec. The present Baroque church was erected between 1665 and 1682. Since 1893 the sanctuary has been run by the Redemptorists.
The image of Our Lady of Tuchów was created around 1530-1540 and became famous for miracles from 1597. It was crowned on 2 October 1904 before some 130,000 of the faithful. In 2010 Pope Benedict XVI granted the church the title of minor basilica.
The sanctuary is open all year; the main indulgence feast is in July.
