The Basilica of the Nativity of the BVM in Pszów with the miraculous image of the "Smiling Mother of God". Construction of the church began in 1743 (architect Friedrich Gans of Krnov) and was completed in 1747. In 1997 John Paul II granted the church the title of minor basilica.
The image depicting the "Smiling Mother of God" is a copy of the Częstochowa image, brought from Częstochowa in 1722. The sanctuary is one of the five main pilgrimage sites of the Archdiocese of Katowice.
The sanctuary is open year-round; the main indulgence feast in September.
