The church and monastery of the Conventual Franciscans (OFMConv) dedicated to St Francis of Assisi, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Loreto. The Franciscans came to Głogówek in 1264 (brought here by the Duke of Opole, Władysław).
The church houses the oldest Loreto House in Poland, built in 1630 during the times of Jerzy III Oppersdorff. The monastery was reactivated in 1963; it belongs to the Kraków province of the Franciscans.
The sanctuary is open all year round.
