A Marian sanctuary whose origins date back to an apparition on 2 November 1645 (the cooper Wojciech Boski). The Dominican monastery was established at the initiative of the local nobility; construction of the church continued until 1769.
In 1864, after the dissolution of the Dominican order, the church and monastery passed into the hands of diocesan priests. The Book of Miracles and Graces recorded 166 miraculous healings since 1645.
The sanctuary is open year-round.
