Location and surroundings

The cathedral is located on Świętojańska Street in Warsaw's Old Town, inscribed on the UNESCO List.

History

The oldest church in Warsaw's old town, with Gothic roots. After being completely destroyed during World War II, it was rebuilt in the Masovian Gothic style. It is a necropolis of distinguished Poles.

What to see

The interior of the rebuilt church, the crypts with the graves of, among others, primates, presidents and writers, as well as the archcathedral museum.
