The Pauline monastery and basilica are located on Jasna Góra hill in Częstochowa, at the western edge of the city, on Aleje NMP.
The Pauline monastery was founded in the 14th century and is Poland's most important Marian sanctuary, famous for the miraculous image of Our Lady of Częstochowa. It is among the most visited sanctuaries in Poland.
