Main Beskid Trail

The Kazimierz Sosnowski Main Beskid Trail (GSB) is the longest continuous mountain trail in Poland, marked in red, with a length of approx. 496 km.

Location and surroundings

The trail runs through the highest parts of the Beskids, from Ustron in the Silesian Beskids to Wolosate in the Bieszczady, across the Silesian, Lesser Poland and Subcarpathian voivodeships.

What to see

  • Ranges: Silesian Beskids, Zywiec Beskids, Makow Beskids, Gorce, Sadecki Beskids, Low Beskids, Bieszczady
  • The highest peaks of the Beskids and the Bieszczady mountain meadows (poloniny)

Who it is for

The trail has no major technical difficulties, but it is long - completing it in full requires perseverance and good fitness.
