The oldest monument of masonry sacral architecture in Western Pomerania. The cornerstone of the Romanesque basilica was laid on 15 August 1176. The cathedral complex is in the Romanesque-Gothic style, erected of brick and granite stones as a three-nave basilica.
In summer, festivals of organ and chamber music are held.
