Darłowo Lighthouse

A low, distinctive lighthouse in the seaside district of Darłówko, at the entrance to the port in Darłowo. The original tower is 21 m high.

Location and surroundings

Darłówko, at the mouth of the Wieprza River into the sea, near the port and the beaches.

History

Erected in 1885 as a single-storey brick building with a square tower. In 1927 the tower was raised by one storey, with a gallery and a lantern with a white dome added. In 2023 the navigational light was moved to the roof of the nearby Marina Royale complex (about 130 m to the west).
