In Tryszczyn there is a war cemetery for the victims of Nazi terror. Around 693 victims of executions carried out by the Germans at the turn of September and October 1939 in the surrounding fields were buried here in 1945 - this was the first mass execution of the inhabitants of Bydgoszcz. The site is connected with the German resettlement camp in Smukała (1941-1943).
