The museum is housed in a former pharmacy in the area of the Kraków ghetto, with the permanent exhibition "The Pharmacy in the Kraków Ghetto". It was the only pharmacy operating in the ghetto during the occupation, run by Tadeusz Pankiewicz - the only Pole who was allowed to reside permanently in the ghetto. The pharmacy at the then Zgody Square was a place of underground meetings, distribution of food and medicine, and the organisation of forged documents.
