Skarżysko-Kamienna, woj. świętokrzyskie
In 1939 the State Ammunition Factory in Skarżysko-Kamienna was incorporated into the HASAG (Hugo Schneider A.G.) concern based in Leipzig. The factory produced ammunition for the German army and operated together with a camp for Jews employed in production. It is estimated that around 35,000 people died at the factory. The site is commemorated by a monument to the victims of slave labour.
