The monumental memorial on Freedom Hill in Bydgoszcz commemorates the victims of the struggle and martyrdom of the inhabitants of the Bydgoszcz region during the Second World War, including the victims of German executions and terror. It is one of the main sites of national remembrance in Bydgoszcz.
