National Museum in Warsaw

The National Museum in Warsaw is one of the largest and most important art museums in Poland, gathering works from antiquity to contemporary art.

The museum's main building is located at Aleje Jerozolimskie 3 in the centre of Warsaw, near the Charles de Gaulle Roundabout.

History

The institution traces its roots back to 1862, when the Museum of Fine Arts was founded. The current building on Aleje Jerozolimskie was erected in the 1930s.
