Warsaw Rising Museum

A museum dedicated to the Warsaw Uprising of 1944, one of the most frequently visited museums in Poland.

Location and surroundings

The museum is housed in a former tram power station at ul. Grzybowska 79 in Warsaw's Wola district.

History

The museum was opened on 31 July 2004, on the eve of the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising.

What to see

The interactive exhibition presents the course of the uprising, a replica of a Liberator aircraft, halls with multimedia and memorabilia. The detailed scope of the exhibition should be confirmed on the museum's website.
