POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews

A museum documenting the thousand-year history of Polish Jews, winner of the European Museum of the Year award.

Location and surroundings

The building is located at ul. Mordechaja Anielewicza 6 in Warsaw's Muranów district, opposite the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes.

History

The museum was opened to visitors in 2013, and the permanent exhibition was made available in 2014. The modern building was designed by architects Rainer Mahlamäki and Ilmari Lahdelma.
