The trail leads to the highest peak of the Stołowe Mountains - Szczeliniec Wielki (919 m a.s.l.) - from the village of Karłów in the Radków commune. It is one of the most popular hiking routes in the Central Sudetes.
From the car park in Karłów, the trail leads along a promenade to the gate of the Stołowe Mountains National Park, then up stone steps (about 665 of them) to the summit plateau. The loop around the summit is about 3.5 km.
The summit route is opened seasonally, depending on the weather - current announcements are published by the Stołowe Mountains National Park.
