Trail to Wielka Sowa

Wielka Sowa (Great Owl, 1015 m a.s.l.) is the highest peak of the Owl Mountains and one of the most popular destinations in this range. On the summit stands a 25-metre stone viewing tower from 1906.

Trail variants

  • red trail from the Sokola Pass - gentle, about 6 km round trip (1.5-2 h)
  • black trail from the Walim Pass - about 6.5 km
  • yellow trail from Walim - more demanding, about 8.4 km, over 3 h

Main attraction

The stone viewing tower on the summit with a panorama of the Sudetes.
