Museum of Kraków - Old Synagogue

A branch of the Historical Museum of the City of Kraków (Museum of Kraków) housed in the oldest surviving synagogue in Poland, in Kraków's Kazimierz district. The building, dating from the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries, is one of the most valuable monuments of Jewish architecture in Europe.

Collections

The museum presents an exhibition devoted to the history and culture of Kraków's Jews - Judaica, objects of religious worship, mementos of rituals and holidays, and the history of Kraków's Jewish community up to the time of the Holocaust.
