A branch of the Historical and Archaeological Museum in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, located about 8 km north-east of Ostrowiec, between the villages of Sudół and Magonie. Krzemionki is a well-preserved complex of prehistoric banded flint mines that operated in the Neolithic and early Bronze Age (approx. 3900-1600 BC).
In 2019, "Krzemionki - the region of prehistoric banded flint mining" was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The main attraction is the underground tourist route - about 500 m of underground corridors descending to 11 m below ground.
