A municipal cultural institution of the city of Kielce, documenting the history of the city from the earliest times to the present day. It is housed in a historic tenement house at ul. św. Leonarda 4.
The museum presents exhibitions devoted to the history of Kielce - the development of the city, the everyday life of its inhabitants, historical events and eminent citizens of Kielce. It gathers photographs, documents, memorabilia and everyday objects.
