A regional museum gathering collections in the fields of archaeology, ethnography and history of the southern part of the present-day Opole Voivodeship. Its main seat is the historic Arsenal.
The museum operates in three main places: the Arsenal (main seat, ul. Bolesława Chrobrego 5), the Centre of Weaving Traditions (ul. Królowej Jadwigi 23) and the Wok Tower on Castle Square.
