Częstochowa Museum - Town Hall

A municipal cultural institution documenting the heritage and past of Częstochowa and Poland. The main building - the Town Hall - is one of three buildings of the former town-hall complex, designed in 1826 as a town hall uniting Old and New Częstochowa. The building was erected in 1828.

Collections

The collections include Polish and regional painting (Malczewski, Weiss, Cybis, Axentowicz) as well as a rich collection of Polish graphic art. The Town Hall presents permanent exhibitions devoted to the history of Częstochowa from prehistoric times and the "Cabinet of Eminent Citizens of Częstochowa".
