A museum housed in the historic building of a former mining school ("Sztygarka") from the end of the 19th century. It documents the history of the Dąbrowa Basin region, with particular emphasis on mining and industry.
The museum presents geology, mineralogy, palaeontology, archaeology and the history of mining in the Basin. It has an underground training gallery of the former mining school, as well as ethnographic collections and militaria.
