Jacek Malczewski Museum in Radom

A cultural institution of the Masovian Voivodeship, established in 1923. The origins of the collection are linked to the collection of Rev. Jan Wiśniewski, made available to the public in 1910. In 1993, on the 140th anniversary of Jacek Malczewski's birth, the museum was named after him. It is housed in the restored complex of a former Jesuit college (mid-18th century).

Collections

The museum holds the fourth-largest collection of works by Jacek Malczewski in Poland. Departments: archaeology (from the Stone Age to modern times), history (documents, iconography, mementos of the January Uprising), and art (Matejko, Wyczółkowski, Wyspiański, Brandt, Nikifor).
