Jan Dekert Lubusz Museum in Gorzów Wielkopolski

The oldest museum in the Lubusz Voivodeship, founded on 8 September 1945. From 1975 to 2000 it operated as the District Museum. Its main premises are located in the former villa of the local factory owner Gustav Schroeder.

Collections

The art department numbers 1,280 objects: painting, Orthodox church art, drawing, graphic art, and sculpture, including the "Arsenal 1955" collection and paintings by Jan Korcz documenting the post-war history of Gorzów.
