Museum in Koszalin

A museum founded in 1947 (its predecessor being the Heimatmuseum of 1912), housed in the historic complex of the Town Mill. It was entered in the State Register of Museums (no. 100) in 2009.

Collections

The collections comprise archaeology (mainly from Pomerania), ethnography, history, coins and medals, as well as old and contemporary art. The collection of contemporary art from the open-air workshops in Osieki (1963-1981) is particularly valuable. The museum publishes the "Koszalin Museum Journals" (since 1971).
