A branch of the District Museum in Toruń set in a complex of Gothic burgher houses in which, according to tradition, Nicolaus Copernicus was born (1473). The houses are among the most valuable monuments of Toruń's Old Town (UNESCO).
The museum presents the life and work of Nicolaus Copernicus, reconstructed burgher interiors from the astronomer's times, a facsimile of the work "On the Revolutions of the Celestial Spheres", astronomical instruments and a model of old Toruń.
