The two most beautiful and longest valleys of the Western Tatras, accessible to hikers along the valley floors. The routes are easy and popular with families too.
From Kiry the trail runs gently along the floor of the Kościeliska Valley to the PTTK lodge on Hala Ornak (about 5.5 km, around 1.5 h). From Siwa Polana the trail along the floor of the Chochołowska Valley is about 7.3 km (around 2 h). The valleys can be joined via the Iwaniacka Pass (a route of about 17.8 km, around 6-6.5 h).
An entrance ticket to the Tatra National Park is required (ticket offices at the entrances or online).
