A Neo-Gothic little palace of the Krasiński family located in Opinogóra Górna, 8 km north-east of Ciechanów, in an English-style park covering 22 ha. Address: ul. Zygmunta Krasińskiego 9.

History

The Museum of Romanticism was founded in 1961 - 150 years after Napoleon Bonaparte issued the decree restoring Opinogóra to the Krasiński family. The second entail holder was Zygmunt Krasiński, a poet, one of the three bards of Polish Romanticism. The former estate comprises: a Neo-Gothic little palace from the 4th decade of the 19th century, a manor house from the early 20th century, a manor outbuilding, a coach house, an orangery and the remains of a farmstead.
