Manor House Museum in Dołęga

Location and surroundings

A historic noble manor house located in Dołęga, a branch of the Tarnów Land Museum (formerly the Regional Museum in Tarnów). Located on the trail of Vistula-side manor houses.

History

The present manor house was built in the mid-19th century by Marianna Günther née Pikuzińska. At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries it was visited by Adam Asnyk, Włodzimierz Tetmajer, Lucjan Rydel, Stanisław Przybyszewski and the young Stanisław Wyspiański. In 1981 the manor house was opened as a branch of the museum.
