Lehndorff Palace in Sztynort

Location and surroundings

The former family seat of the Lehndorffs (and earlier the Dönhoffs) located in Sztynort on Lake Mamry, in Masuria (Węgorzewo commune). Behind the palace remain the vestiges of an eighteen-hectare park with mighty oaks.

History

The palace was built in the years 1689-1691, originally Baroque in character, rebuilt many times. The seat of the Lehndorff family. Conservation and renovation works are currently underway.
