Potocki Palace in Radzyń Podlaski

One of the most outstanding Rococo residences in Poland. Its history goes back to the 16th century, when a modest fortified manor stood here. The building acquired its present shape in the 18th century, when Eustachy Potocki transformed the manor into a magnificent palatial residence.

Architecture and history

In the years 1749-1759 the rebuilding was carried out under the direction of the Italian architect Jakub Fontana, a leading representative of the Baroque and Rococo in Poland. The palace was built of brick, with rich sculptural decoration.
