Fortified Manor in Szymbark

The Renaissance fortified manor (castellum) in Szymbark was built in the 16th century for the Gładysz family. It is one of the few surviving examples in Poland of a fortified noble manor of the castellum type, with an attic and corner alcove towers.

Museum

The building currently serves as a museum. It is among the most valuable monuments of secular Renaissance architecture in Lesser Poland.
