The palace in Sorkwity is situated on a picturesque peninsula between Lake Gielądzkie and Lake Lampackie, about 12 km from Mrągowo. The palace and park complex was built between 1850 and 1856 in the neo-Gothic style.
Since 1998 the palace has belonged to a private investor who adapted the building into a hotel. Tourists can make use of the accommodation and the recreational offer (horse riding, canoeing trips down the Krutynia).
