The history of the palace in Kurozwęki dates back to the 14th century, when Dobiesław of Kurozwęki erected here an originally timber-and-masonry defensive structure - one of the first masonry knights' castles in Poland. The residence was rebuilt many times by successive families: the Kurozwęcki, Lanckoroński, Sołtyk and Popiel families.
The palace houses the Museum of the Four Families as well as representative salons (the Red Salon, the Green Salon, the Ballroom, the chapel). On the grounds there is also a bison safari (the first and largest American bison breeding farm in Poland), mazes, a brewery, a café and a restaurant.
